Our Journey

Freedom On The Fly was born from a simple, yet profound realization: the need to serve active duty and military veterans is growing everyday. There is no doubt that there is need for healing and this is an unparalleled challenge. When combined with resources and services available, we believe there is a mechanism for each service member or veteran to find peace. Our founders are veterans themselves and they recognized the therapeutic potential of fly fishing after experiencing firsthand the tranquility and sense of accomplishment it brought into their life during a period of transition and healing.

What we do...

We offer a range of programs specifically designed for active duty and veterans, focusing on the therapeutic benefits of outdoor adventures. These programs are not just about the activities themselves, but about creating a supportive community where veterans can share their stories, struggles, and successes. Our experienced volunteers, most of whom are veterans themselves, understand the path to healing and are dedicated to walking it alongside those who served.
